USOC: Sibylline Spydra

i ran this once last year, but the font came out teeny-tiny, and the linked video was removed by YouTube.  So, here it is again - watch the video while you can.

Centuries ago,
concurrent with the 50th Olympiad,
not long before
the expulsion of Rome's kings,
an old woman
"who was not a native of the country"
arrived incognita in Rome.
She offered nine books of prophecies
to King Tarquin,
and as the king declined to purchase them,
owing to the exorbitant price she demanded,
she burned three and
offered the remaining six to Tarquin
at the same stiff price, which he again refused,
whereupon she burned three more
and repeated her offer.
Tarquin then relented and purchased the last three
at the full original price,
whereupon she
"disappeared from among men."

I want you to think about everything I've ever told you about the USOC, America the Beautiful Park and 9/11 as you WATCH THE COMPLETELY EXCELLENT VIDEO BELOW.

I'm telling you true, friends...no sooner had this flick begun, and I was already chilled and covering my eyes...unable to accept the awful confirmation of all my worst fears...

But you be the judge.

  1. Oh, and V for Vendetta is a noted anarchist tract that stands against anything that any possible believers in the new world order (not that there are any) would remotely stand for. Just a thought.

    1. I doubt that you took your blinders off long enough to even watch that movie, Anonymous.
