So, I was looking up stuff like "innovation in public education" because, as you may know, thoughts of the Falcon School District 49 innovation district initiative regularly drive me to distraction.
See, because it all sounds like absolute hokum. And hokum is really all it can be -- because if there was any substance to this "innovation" inanity, it wouldn't be so tough to find the new-fangled definition for this millennial innovation.
Murky indeed...but what can be said with certainty is that the catalyst for innovation is communism.
Looking up "Marxism and Innovation" brought up a link to Craig Cox's D11 Fact Sheet, circa October 2006.
In the his article, "Alliance for What?" Craig discusses an organization called Alliance for Quality Public Schools, which was formed in Colorado Springs after the 2003 election left the D11 Board with a surprise conservative majority. Everyone associated with the Alliance is a dyed-in-the-wool leftist. One of the goals of the anti-parental choice Alliance is supposedly to keep public education dollars from going to private providers.
Craig (one of my own personal heroes) noted that two "other" Alliance members just so happened to be Albert Gonzales and Jan Tanner, who were both vying for spots on the D11 Board through the recall process.
"The members of the Alliance are very selective in their objection to allowing public dollars to fund private businesses. The goal is secrecy for their actions, which never tend to serve the public good," wrote Craig. "As the Alliance for Quality Public Schools supports Jan Tanner and Albert Gonzales, one has to wonder what personal benefit the leaders of this group would gain by having these two idea-lacking people on the Board."
Curiosity sufficiently piqued, I decided to look up the "Alliance for Quality Public Schools" and found Craig had darn good reason to wonder...for as is evidenced in this 2007 Citizen's Project school board candidate focus piece, JAN FOUNDED THE ALLIANCE.
I mean, yeah -- I know it's yesterday's news -- but old dogs often come to rely upon their old tricks...and I'm unaware of this connection having had come to light before now.
As always, my funny Valentine Jan can be counted on for a good laugh -- a right dependable gal that Jan, and constant -- the way she's been the same ol' Jan all along...
Hey -- if you need more to go on than just the word of a lowly spider, what could be more convincing than Jan's own words? Read her answers to the Citizen Project's questions: Jan Tanner is either a: 1) visionary ahead of her time; 2) psychic; ...or she's like 3) Chief Communist Comrade Czar on the Colorado Spring District 11 Board of Educators.
Methinks it's the latter.
I am telling you all right now that Jan Tanner is a radical socialist, and that other politicians closely associated with Jan are socialists like Jan. Obama-style socialism has everything to do with the Falcon re-org hari-kari...and somehow, Jan's hands are already dirty with all of it -- the Marxist takeover of Colorado's public education system.
Again, I have to thank Jan for blibber-blabbering as many Marxist catch-phrases as she could jam into her answers for Citizen Project -- including a barely preceptible mention of "right-brain" power.
Looking up "right brain and 21st century learning" brought me to author Daniel Pink -- a friend of Colorado Springs Independent owner John Weiss.
Mr. Pink authored the book A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future, which charts the rise of right-brain thinking in modern economies and describes the six abilities individuals and organizations must master in an outsourced, automated age.
Yeah...and the really good news is that -- in case you're finding it difficult to discern the bad seeds from the really bad seeds -- there's a free online test to determine whether your friend or loved one is "left-brained" or "right-brained." Good information to know...especially if you're just a poor left-brained schmuck...or right-brained and gonna rule the future, ya know?
Which brings me to my most EXCELLENT good news; the result of my own left-brain, right-brain test is below:

Yep; read it and weep, Jan -- in the future world we all have yet to imagine, I am your queen. And you ain't seen good governance 'til you've seen the spider restore some justice. And that's an actual fact.
All Hail Queen Spydra.
